I eat 800 calories of rice each day

I measured the amount of dry rice I cooked today as my meal. It was about 1 1/4 cups which is about 800 calories. Added to that is flax/evening primrose oil that I squirt in, plus toasted sesame seeds, plus a very large mixed green salad with more of the same oil, plus optional steamed veggies (such as green beans and broccoli).

The total calorie count for my dinner, which is my biggest meal of the day, is probably around 1100.

That is a very high amount of calories. But then, I eat a very pure, disciplined diet so I need calories.

In the morning I have a large bowl of oatmeal + ground flax and chia seeds. While it really expands a lot when it cooks, I only use a few tablespoons of oats and two teaspoons of flax and chia each which I grind in a coffee grinder. I then add in maybe 5-6 organic strawberries, a banana, optional other fruit if available such as nectarine, raisins, and walnuts. I use unsweetened organic soymilk in it.

During the day for snacking I’ll take a small plate and put a banana on it with a handful of raisins and walnuts and just pick at it.

Sometimes I will have a small cup of unsweetened organic soymilk in the evening.

I also like making hot cocoa using pure, unsweetened, organic cocoa powder.

During the day I also have different types of tea. Lately my favorites have been Yunnan, Ceylon, and Darjeeling all of which are either fair-trade and/or organic.

No real mystery to my diet but I know its extremely exceptional in this sad time with so much disease and lack of discipline.

I’ve always subscribed to the belief that if I can’t do anything else in my life, I at least can do something that requires my being disciplined with myself. How lame if I couldn’t even manage that.

I really don’t talk with people about diet, nutrition, or health. I accept that most people will never be capable of being healthy and am tired of the resentment and jealousy it invokes.

Its like being an alien on a strange planet, which is odd because my diet is the most ecological and healthy for Earth.

There is an active black PR campaign to keep healthy vegans from collectively identifying.

More and more I recognize the differences between grain-based cultures such as are found in Asia, and meat-based ones. There’s a profound energy difference between the two.
