OMG! The best food accident I ever had!

I just wrote about the amazing combination of chunky roasted almond butter mixed with coconut butter and seasoned with nutmeg (and possibly orange blosson honey). Tonight I was kind of spaced out and as I was seasoning my almond/coconut butter I automatically grabbed my jar of curry powder by accident without thinking and put some in. Then I realized what I did. I decided to still add some nutmeg.

All I can say is – Wow!

Almond/coconut butter seasoned with curry powder and nutmeg (and possibly a small amount of orange blossom honey) is amazing! This is like the closest I think its possible to get to a FBO from food!

Curry. Curry is the secret. People don’t think of using curry as a seasoning in something like a coookie but – OMG it is sooo really good!

Sometimes the intensity of foods is so great I want to cry.

I wish I could make like 10 pounds of this, set up a table at the mall, give it away and watch people bliss out. Or perhaps serve it at some nice cafe along with shots of turkish coffee.

UPDATE: I just tried it today with curry powder only (no nutmeg). O! M! G!!!! So amazing! Total food FBO!

UPDATE 2: I’m enjoying a bowl of flax oatmeal seasoned with… Curry! (Quick oats + golden flax cooked 5 min, 1/2 banana, 3 chopped halawi dates, thompson raisins, unsweetened soymilk, a touch of orange blossom honey, and – Curry! Yes!!!

Mint! Another seasoning to try with coconut: Mint. Now I’m wondering what sorts of mind-blowing combinations of things will go with coconut + mint…
