I never would have thought that there would be so much intolerance, bigotry, hatred, and abusiveness. I never thought that I wouldn’t be able to run through my city without being abused. Or shop in some store without being subject to derision.
Something is wrong with people. I don’t know what their problem is, or what their problems are, but they aren’t my fault. Whatever sickness they have that makes them project their malevolence onto me is their own issue. I absolve myself of their rancid energy.
The bigotry, abuse, and intolerance is disgusting. As if people don’t have enough material in their own lives to keep them fully occupied, they have to direct malevolence outward at an innocent person whom they do not even know, but I often seriously wonder to what extent may have violated me. What else feeds such derision? I can’t seriously imagine such derision emanating from nothing.
There’s so much hypocrisy in the world. People claim that they believe in freedom, yet many of those people are the worst betrayers of freedom. Freedom requires a type of maturity that many people, like a disease, lack. And many of the people they vilify and attack and call close-minded are actually the ones who are more mature and open-minded.
I absolve myself of the rancid hypocritical cult of bigotry, intolerance, and abuse. Life’s too short. There are good, honest, caring people on Earth and those are the people I want to be around.
