This is actually a deluxe pepper grinder I got at a department store. It has a variable setting for levels between coarse and fine.
I have another of the same grinder for actual pepper and it works great. For cumin I would say it is acceptable. I don’t know with the properties of whole cumin seeds how much better a grinder could do.
Since deciding to use a cumin grinder I find myself using it much more frequently.
Cumin is a member of the Apiaceae family of plants which includes fennel which grows like a weed all over the area where I live, carrot, celery, parsley, et alia.
