I’ve know that dandelion root is really big in Korea. I once saw a program on a Korean network about dandelion root. How can you not love Korean tv with their shows about things like dandelion root and miso? I recently got a box of roasted dandelion root tea bags and have fallen in love with this tea. Its so soothing and gentle.
I don’t know why, but recently it came up that I started thinking about the master cleanse which I did several years ago. But this time around I decided not to do that exact thing. But there has been this energy floating around for some reason about cleansing, purifying, and fasting. I know that Buddha in one of his sermons mentioned that lethargy or sloth can be caused by intemperance with food.
Lately I’ve really been blissing out on Agua de Chia – the version I make usually uses 2 lemons, limes, or oranges, 3 tbsp chia seeds, and about 1 tbsp honey. I know honey is not vegan and I love bees. But honey is very healing and is especially helpful for boosting immunity and lowering inflammation in the respiratory tract which I often need.
