I went to make rice yesterday and was low on rice. I only had a very small amount of some brown basmati and a small amount of another brown short-grain variety. I put those in the rice cooker and was digging through all the grains and realized I had some millet. So I put in millet. Then I had another bag of what I thought was a dark variety of rice. It turned out that it was golden flaxseed. Oops!
But it was a great mistake. When it finished cooking it was an amazing dish!
