High arsenic levels in American-grown rice

This may be news to many, it turns out that high arsenic levels have been found in American-grown rice. This stems from the fact that many groundwater reservoirs in the US have unsafe, high levels of arsenic (and probably also the fact that rice is a highly irrigation-intensive crop).

Lundberg, one of the largest American rice growers if not the largest (at least for organic rices) is aware of it.
