Where is Heaven?

Where is Heaven?

Does it ever come from abandoning, from forgetting, from not being careful about, not being attentive; from not being conscientious, dedicated, watchful, vigilant, meticulous, kind, caring, or loving? Ever?

Or does it come from being even more dedicated, remembering, careful, attentive, conscientious, dedicated, watchful, vigilant, meticulous, kind, caring, and loving?

Is it something that can just easily be obtained by material acquisition?

Or is is something that is only reached inwardly through cultivation, dedication, and achievement (spiritual)?

Is it something that the eye can see or the ear can hear? Or something that transcends the material?

I believe in Heaven. I believe in the Way of Heaven, which means being Heaven. No matter what conditions may be like externally, no matter what disposition of things may exist materially, it doesn’t matter as long as it is living, is being nurtured, being cared-for and deeply loved within one’s heart.

There may be other ways that are claimed as healthy, as good, as positive, as healing, but if those ways do not include the Way of Heaven then they are not ways that I would want to choose.

For all the brilliance, gloriousness, and splendour that one may witness with the physical senses, nothing comes close to that which is experienced in the soul, from being in sacred communion with holy divinity.

We humans may strive for various things in our lives. We may strive for possessions, for fame, for glory, but the only true thing worth striving for is the Way of Heaven.

History teaches that many of those who strove for the Way of Heaven did not have it easy. While the Way of Heaven is a great idea – it is the greatest of all great things – unfortunately in the world of humans the path does not always shine clearly.

In the past great teachers have said that there are not as many who truly follow the Way of Heaven as those who do not. Those who do not are not ready for it.

We understand the causes of suffering but because of occluded views, because of incorrect views, we make mistakes and miss the mark.

No human is perfect and we are all ultimately brothers and sisters to each other and should care for and want to help one another as we all continue along our processes of evolution and growth.

But we also have to learn what it means to make a stand spiritually, to live for what we know inside our soul is right, regardless of what the world may try to teach us, what others may say, or what pressures we may feel upon us.

When there are dark times it means that there are no holy persons who are examples. There are no leaders to look up to.

Our world needs strong leaders, needs holy people, people who are powerful and good models with the strength to rise beyond the immense, the monumental downward forces which are entrapping souls in cycles of misery and suffering.

Whether there may be glory and bliss externally, I as a person have chosen to follow what I know is healing and healthy.

I cannot tell you every place that I will go to, but I can only say that I will certainly seek out those places where there is love, peace, harmony, healing, and wisdom.

I will avoid those places where there is harm, abuse, destruction, ignorance, wastefulness, and violation.

In any situation in life, all I have to do at any given moment is close my eyes and honestly and truthfully answer the question, deep in my soul, about what is the energy that is surrounding me right now. If I take away the colors, the shapes, the particulars of the material presentation coming to my senses, what is left? Is it a good feeling? Is it taking me closer to Divinity? Or is it not? What are the intentions in the souls who surround me? Are they pure and holy, or diluted and defiled?

And yes, I have witnessed miracles. I have seen saints. Holiness exists.

I believe in Heaven. It is something we are supposed to create.
