Lentils are one of the oldest foods cultivated by humans. They are extremely good. They’re easy to prepare. They usually only require soaking for a couple hours before cooking.
You can purchase them bulk and at a good, community-based store they shouldn’t be that expensive and there should be multiple varieties.
Lentils are great fried. And of course in soups and curry-type preparations.
Try to integrate lentils into your diet more as a replacement for less nutritious foods and you’ll feel better.
