Recently, for the first time, I was at a club which I’ve been to many times in the past. Of course smoking cannabis was never allowed there and I remember people always used to go out to their cars to smoke herb. Sometimes people would try to smoke it covertly inside the club and inevitably they would either have the cannabis confiscated and be allowed back in or else they could keep it but not be allowed back in.
Well, for the first time, I was at this club and now with the legalization of recreational marijuana people can smoke openly at the club.
I’m not really a cannabis smoker – I usually prefer to eat it and even then maybe only a few times per year – but I have to say it was nice to be there and have someone roll this really large spliff and pass it around!
This is definitely a progression as cannabis is vastly preferable to alcohol. Hopefully too it will mean people smoking less tobacco the secondhand smoke of which is really nauseating.
