A culture that forget how not to abuse itself is a culture in the process of destruction

We forgot how not to abuse each other. In our rush to destroy the traditions, norms, and mores of old we were too ignorant to realize that what we were doing was destroying a part of ourselves.

Look at this disaster right now. This shouldn’t be happening, especially with a people like us. Today I was reading about the life of a composer in 17th-century Germany and the one thing that is striking is just how different everything was back then. Everything was different. People were extremely different. People were more intelligent, civilized, and cultured beyond what many today are even capable of imagining.

Look at the legacy that people from that time left in terms of art, architecture, and of course music. There is no comparison. Modern stuff, no matter how monumental it aspires to be, is a joke in comparison, as are most other aspects of our society and our culture. Everything has turned into some kind of fucked up joke.

At the core of the collapse is that our society – we – have lost the ability not to abuse one another. In fact I think it’s worse than this because many if not most are not even capable of recognizing abuse anymore, much less be able to prevent themselves from perpetuating and exacerbating it.

This failure is manifesting in different ways, but ultimately it manifests in a breakdown of relations between people in society and the consequent collapse which follows such a breakdown.

Just as the breakdown occurs, there surges among many a misplaced and delusional concern for those outside the culture, even while betraying their own.

Look at the examples that are set. Look at the betrayal of people like many of the tech tycoons, who based their lives off the evil choice to utilize the benefits of the blessings they received and their talents not with the purest intention to benefit humanity, but rather to serve their own greed. No matter how much such destroyers give in charity it will never make up for the fundamental choice of evil they made, nor ever come close to repairing the vast devastation they have caused.

Right now the West is being invaded and is collapsing precisely because of the breakdown, and many of those who seem to be the most compassionate are the worst offenders. They are people who are lost, seeking to compensate for evil with misplaced philanthropy.
